Columbus High’s softball team experienced a roller coaster of emotions in a doubleheader Wednesday at Lincoln Southwest.
The Discoverers were no-hit in the opener, falling 10-0 in four innings. But, CHS bounced back to win the nightcap 7-6, as the Discoverers broke a 6-all tie with a run in the top of the seventh. That snapped a 10-game winning streak by Lincoln Southwest.
Columbus is 10-11 and will play another twinbill this evening at Lincoln Southeast.
