CHS #2 Doubles Team Earns State Tourney Seed

The Columbus High boys’ tennis #2 doubles team of Colin Flyr and Alex Larson are seeded 15th in the Class A state tournament, which opens today in Omaha.
The Discoverers seniors are the first CHS players to earn a seed in the state tourney since 2014. They’ll take on an unseeded duo from Fremont in the first round.
In #1 doubles, Landon Hastreiter and Bohden Jedlicka take on the 10th seeded team from Millard West. Ted Fehringer of Columbus meets the number 10 seed from Papillion-La Vista South in #1 singles, while the Discoverers’ Frank Fehringer faces the number-11 seed from Norfolk in #2 singles.
