Bulldogs vs. Commodores in All-SEC CWS Finals

It will be an all-SEC showdown in the College World Series finals this year. 

Tanner Leggett’s RBI single in the bottom of the ninth inning gave Mississippi State a 4-3 walk-off win over Texas Saturday night.  The Bulldogs are in the finals for the first time since 2013.  They play Vanderbilt in the best-of-three series starting tonight.  Vandy got its spot in the finals when the NCAA removed NC State from the tournament because of COVID-19 protocols.  The Wolfpack had just 13 players available during a 3-1 loss to the Commodores on Friday. 

First pitch at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha tonight is set for 6 p.m.  The game will be televised on ESPN2.
