Bryce McGowens Posts Double-Double as Huskers Down Southern

Bryce McGowens scored 18 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as the Nebraska men’s basketball team defeated Southern 82-59 Sunday afternoon.
The 6-foot-7 freshman posted his first career double-double and led four Huskers in double figures. NU shot 53 percent from the field at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
Nebraska’s win was its second straight, following a 78-60 home victory over Idaho State Friday night. The Huskers are 3-2 and will entertain Tennessee State tomorrow night.
