Brackets Are Set for GRC Basketball Tournaments
The brackets have been set for the Goldenrod Conference boys and girls basketball tournaments.
A pair of play-in games in each tourney are scheduled for this Saturday. In the girls quarterfinals Monday in Humphrey, the Flyers will face Fullerton or Elba and Riverside meets Central Valley. Girls quarterfinal host Nebraska Christian faces St. Edward or Heartland Lutheran and the other game there has Palmer vs. Burwell.
In Tuesday’s boys quarterfinals at St. Francis, the Flyers meet Palmer or Burwell, while Fullerton takes on St. Ed. The other boys quarterfinal host Riverside faces Heartland Lutheran or Elba and the other contest there has Nebraska Christian vs. Central Valley.
The rest of the tourney will be played at Central Valley High in Greeley, with play-by-play aired on 93.5 The Hawk. The girls semi-finals are next Thursday, with the boys semi-finals on Friday and both championship games next Saturday.
