Boys’ Tennis at State Tourney in Omaha

Columbus High’s tennis team competes in the Class A state tournament in Omaha today.  None of the Discoverers are seeded entering the two-day tourney at Koch Tennis Center. 

In the opening round, Adam Kamrath of CHS faces ninth-seeded Kyle Givens of Lincoln East in #1 singles.  In #2 singles, the Discoverers Connor Wiehn takes on number-10 seed Justin Ye of Millard West.

In #1 doubles, the Columbus pairing of Alexander Larson and Colin Flyr plays the fourth-seeded team from Lincoln Southeast.  And Columbus High’s #2 doubles team of Landen Hastreiter and Drew VunCannon meets another unseeded pair from Bellevue West.
