Boys Golf Results Thursday for Three Local Teams

In prep golf Thursday, Columbus finished in fourth place in the Capital City Invite. 

The Discoverers posted a team score of 349 at Highlands Golf Course.  Owen Lawrence led CHS with a 79 to earn seventh, while Keaton Barnes shot an 81, good for 10th. 

Scotus won the Lakeview Invite at Quail Run.  The Shamrocks carded 328 as a team, while the Vikings were third with a 336. 

Nick Fleming of Scotus won the tourney by firing a 74.  Lakeview’s Trevor Sloup finished third with an 80, one stroke and place in front of the Vikings Kurt Schneider.
