Both Scotus Hoops Teams Try to Win Conference Titles Today

The Scotus boys basketball team has joined the Shamrocks girls in advancing to Saturday’s Centennial Conference tournament championship games at Boys Town.
In Friday night’s boys semifinals, the Shamrocks beat Hastings St. Cecilia 61-47. Scotus is now 12-5 and will meet Lincoln Lutheran for the title. The Warriors improved to 12-6 and made the final by knocking off No. 1 seed Omaha Concordia 59-45.
The Shamrocks girls beat Kearney Catholic 44-29 in Thursday’s semifinals to improve to 14-4. They’ll meet Lincoln Christian (14-2) in Saturday’s championship.
