Boone Central to Compete in Performance Index State Championship

Boone Central is among six schools that will participate in the Nebraska High School Performance Index State Championship.
The inaugural event will take place at Lincoln North Star next Tuesday. Athletic performance testing evaluates the speed, agility and power of an athlete. It’s often used to track an athlete’s improvements through training.
The competition is part of the Nebraska Coaches Association’s Multi-Sport Clinic. Besides Boone Central, North Star, Omaha Marian, Hershey, McCook and Summerland will be competing.
