Big Second Half Propels NU Women to WNIT Win

The Nebraska women’s basketball squad pulled away in the second half to defeat UT Martin 72-46 in the opening round of the WNIT.
The Huskers trailed the Skyhawks 19-18 after the first quarter, but took a 27-24 lead into halftime. NU won the second half 45-22 and won the rebounding battle on the day 45-25.
Nebraska improved to 13-12. The Huskers will play in the second-round of the Memphis Region tomorrow at 5 p.m.
