Baseball: Huskers Get Swept, Bluejays Keep Winning

In college baseball this weekend, Nebraska was clobbered by Rutgers 19-1 yesterday. The Huskers were swept in the three-game series to fall to 12-18 overall, 4-5 in the Big Ten.
Meanwhile, Creighton scored ten runs in the seventh inning yesterday in a 14-2 romp over Georgetown in Omaha. Playing their first Big East series, the Bluejays took all three games from the Hoyas. Creighton is 18-8 on the season, including a 12-0 mark at home.
The Bluejays will meet the Huskers in Lincoln tomorrow. First pitch is set for 6:35 p.m. The pregame starts at 6 p.m. on News Talk 900 KJSK.
