Area Prep Baseball Scores, Class C District Tournaments Set

In area prep baseball games, St. Paul/Palmer split its home doubleheader against Aurora. 

The Huskies won the opener 6-5, but the Cats took the nightcap 10-0.  St. Paul/Palmer is now 5-6 and was seeded yesterday as No. 2 in next week’s district tournament at Lincoln Christian. 

Central City/Centura went 1-1 in a triangular at Omaha North.  The Kernels lost to the Vikings 3-1, but hammered Twin River 15-2.  The Titans bowed to North 11-4. 

Central City/Centura is 15-6 and is the No. 1 seed and host of a district tourney.  Twin River is 6-9 and will be seeded third in a district tournament in Springfield.
