Nebraska’s Max Anderson and Brice Matthews both received All-America honors yesterday from Collegiate Baseball.
The publication selected Anderson for the second team, while Matthews was a third-team honoree.
Anderson had a breakout junior campaign in 2023. He hit .414 with 21 home runs and 70 RBI and was a unanimous first-team All-Big Ten pick.
Matthews was also a first-team all-conference selection as a junior, after hitting .359 with 20 homers and 67 RBI. He also had 20 stolen bases to become the first Husker ever and the second Big Ten player in history to post a 20-20 season.
