All Local Prep Football Teams Involved in Shutouts

All three local high school football teams are coming off season-opening shutouts as they prepare for the second week of the season. 

Columbus High smothered visiting Scottsbluff 13-0. The Discoverers stay at home to host rival and 1-0 Norfolk this Friday in a game you can hear on KLIR 101. 

Lakeview blew away Boys Town on the road 62-0.  The Vikings play their home opener against Pierce, also 1-0, this Friday in a contest on KZ-100.

Following its 40-0 loss at top-ranked Wahoo, Scotus has a short week.  The Shamrocks are in action Thursday, when they host Omaha Concordia, also 0-1, at Pawnee Park’s Memorial Stadium.
