Alexander Honored as CU Picked for 7th

The Creighton men’s basketball squad has been picked to finish seventh in the Big East and junior guard Ty-Shon Alexander was named a Preseason First Team All-Big East selection. 

The results of a preseason poll of conference coaches were announced this morning as part of the Big East’s annual Media Day festivities at Madison Square Garden.

Last year’s Bluejays team was picked to finish ninth but tied for third by season’s end, CU’s third consecutive third place finish. 

Alexander is just the fourth player in program history to receive the preseason first team honor.
