Two college golfers in Nebraska were honored on Wednesday.
Nebraska’s Michaela Vavrova was named Big Ten women’s golfer of the week. The Huskers senior from Slovakia shot a career-best 205, 11-under at the Sam Golden Invitational in Texas. It marked the third-best individual score in school history.
Creighton junior Eleanor Hudepohl is the Big East women’s golfer of the week. She tied CU’s 54-hole record with a 3-under 213 at the MSU-Payne Stewart Memorial that concluded on Tuesday.
