Volleyball: NU’s Jackson, CU’s Breissinger Win Weekly Honors

In college volleyball, Nebraska middle blocker Andi Jackson was named Big Ten Co-Freshman of the Week.
Jackson averaged 2.13 kills and 1.13 blocks per set in the Huskers’ wins over Northwestern and Illinois last week.
Meanwhile, Creighton’s Sydney Breissinger earned Big East Freshman of the Week honors for the second straight week. She averaged a team-leading 4.14 digs per set to help the Bluejays pick up road victories at Seton Hall and St. John’s.
In the weekly AVCA poll, NU stayed at No. 1 and CU held steady at 15th.
