Volleyball Day to Draw 85,000 Fans to Memorial Stadium

Memorial Stadium is expected to be packed with 85,000 volleyball fans on Wednesday. 

Tomorrow is Volleyball Day in Nebraska.  Parking lots will open at 1 p.m. with the stadium gates opening at 3:30.  Nebraska-Kearney meets Wayne State in an exhibition match at 4:30 p.m. 

The Huskers will take on the Omaha Mavericks in a regular-season contest at 7 p.m.  The pregame begins at 6 on News Talk 900 KJSK. 

Approximately 15 minutes after the Nebraska-UNO match ends, country music artist Scotty McCreery will finish the night with a concert.
