Vikings Tame Tigers Prior to Hosting Subdistrict Volleyball

Lakeview’s volleyball team posted its 20th win of the year in the Vikings’ regular season finale at North Bend last night.
Lakeview tamed the Tigers 25-17, 25-17, 25-12 to improve to 20-9. Katie Rowe led the Vikings with 12 kills.
Lakeview will host the C1-6 subdistrict tournament next Monday and Tuesday. The Vikings will meet rival Scotus in Monday’s second semifinal at 7 p.m., following the 5 p.m. match between North Bend and David City. Both matches will be aired on KLIR 101.
Meanwhile, Columbus High will host Omaha Marian in a district A-5 semifinal next Tuesday at 5 p.m.
