Vikings, Shamrocks Look to Pull Off Postseason Upsets Tonight

Lakeview and Scotus are looking to pull off upsets in tonight’s opening round of the Class C1 football playoffs. 

The 15th-seeded Vikings visit No. 2 seed Boone Central on KZ-100, while the No. 16 seed Shamrocks play at top-seeded Wahoo on KLIR 101.  Both games have 7 p.m. kickoffs. 

On 93.5 The Hawk, it’s a 5 p.m. kickoff in Humphrey for a D2 second-round game as St. Francis meets Axtell. 

In other action, Aquinas visits Class C2 No. 1 seed Norfolk Catholic.  In D1, Cross County hosts Perkins County, Shelby-Rising City is at EMF and Clarkson/Leigh travels to North Platte St. Patrick’s.  In D2, Howells-Dodge visits Ainsworth and Central Valley entertains BDS.
