Two Husker Men’s Basketball Players Saw Action Wednesday

A pair of Nebraska men’s basketball players were in action Wednesday in Istanbul, as pool play concluded in the FIBA Olympic pre-qualifying tournament.
Reink Mast and the Netherlands fell to Croatia 89-81. Mast came off the bench with two points, five rebounds and a team-high four assists.
Thorir Thorbjarnarson led Iceland to a 93-76 victory over Bulgaria, as the former Husker had a team-high 17 points off the bench.
The Netherlands and Iceland both finished third in their pools and did not advance to the semifinals.
