Trio of Bluejays Earn All-Big East Honors

Creighton’s Baylor Scheierman was named a unanimous first-team All-Big East selection yesterday.
Bluejays Trey Alexander and Ryan Kalkbrenner were named to the conference’s second team after a vote of league coaches.
After earning the No. 2 seed in the Big East tournament with a 69-67 victory at Villanova Saturday, CU will face either Providence or Georgetown on Thursday at 6 p.m. on FS1.
The win at ‘Nova came a day after Creighton announced it had signed head coach Greg McDermott to a long-term contract extension.
