Tominaga Making “Remarkable Progress,” NU Signs Pair

The Nebraska men’s basketball team welcomes Florida A&M to Pinnacle Bank Arena tonight.

Keisei Tominaga missed NU’s 84-52 season-opening victory over Lindenwood Monday with an ankle injury suffered in an October 29th exhibition game against Doane.  Coach Fred Hoiberg said Tominaga was able to return for part of the Huskers’ practice Wednesday and is making “remarkable progress.”

Tonight’s tipoff is set for 7 p.m.  The pregame begins at 6 on News Talk 900 KJSK.

Meanwhile, Nebraska added a pair of top-150 recruits yesterday.  Braden Frager, who is a forward at Lincoln Southwest, and guard Nick Janowski of Wisconsin signed with the Huskers on the first day of the fall signing period.

Hoiberg said both players are “highly competitive” and are “excellent shooters.”
