Swimming Falls at Kearney, Bowling Wins Big Over Jags

Columbus High’s swimming team was defeated at Kearney High 404-190. The Discoverers girls were downed 186-117, while the CHS boys bowed to the Bearcats 218-73.
Two Columbus girls, Shae Drymon and Maddisen Schulz set new state secondary qualifying times and the CHS girls won the 200 yard freestyle relay.
The Discoverers bowling team both posted easy wins over Howells-Dodge yesterday.
The Columbus girls downed the Jaguars 20-1. Alex Holdsworth had the high game with a 248 and Madison Henderson rolled the high series at 430.
The CHS boys won 19-2 as Andrew Beck took high game with a 212 and high series at 385.
