Streaks Extended During Huskers’ Loss to Michigan

Nebraska’s football team has lost 23 straight games to top-25 opponents after suffering a 45-7 defeat against Michigan on Saturday.

The only silver lining on the day for the Huskers was Joshua Fleeks’ 74-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.  It extended NU’s streak of not being shutout to 344 games, dating back to 1996.

Nebraska slipped to 2-3 while playing in front of the 392nd consecutive sellout at Memorial Stadium.

The Huskers will visit Illinois on Friday.  Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.  The pregame starts at 3 p.m. on News Talk 900 KJSK and at 6:30 on 93.5 The Hawk.
