State Bowling: Singles Action Today, Teams on Tuesday

The state high school bowling tournament is being held in Lincoln today and tomorrow.
In boys singles action at Sun Valley Lanes today, Gavin Unger and Ryland Prokopec of Columbus High, Lakeview’s Trenton Ditter and Ethan Haas-Oltrogge and Evan Haas of Howells-Dodge will compete.
Singles competitors on the girls’ side include Alex Holdsworth of CHS, Elyssa Cuevas of Boone Central and three qualifiers from Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family: Caitlynn Gronenthal, Ashley Pfeifer and Paige Nolan.
The Bulldogs girls also qualified as a team and are among eight clubs that will bowl in tomorrow’s team tourney.
