Softball: Discoverers Win at Central, Lakeview Blanks Aquinas

In prep softball on Tuesday, Columbus won at Omaha Central 14-3 in five innings.
Kyra Bowen and Danica Taylor each had four RBI and scored three runs apiece for the Discoverers. Columbus is 7-8 and will host Kearney in a doubleheader on Thursday.
Lakeview posted a shutout win at Aquinas, winning 12-0 in six innings. Cali Bentz tossed a three-hitter with eight strikeouts and no walks. Bentz also went 3-for-4 with a home run, five RBI and three runs.
The Vikings are now 7-5, while the Monarchs slipped to 14-5. Lakeview plays in the Arlington Invite on Saturday. Aquinas hosts Pierce tomorrow.
