Girls Teams From CHS, Scotus Get Wins for Local Clubs

In high school hoops this weekend, the Columbus High boys bowed to Lincoln East 75-36. 

Friday’s loss dropped the Discoverers to 1-3.  The CHS girls beat the Spartans 47-40, evening the Discoverers’ record at 2-2. 

Lakeview’s boys fell at Wayne 58-51 Saturday, following Friday night’s 50-41 defeat at Aurora.  The Vikings are 1-3.  Lakeview’s girls were downed at Wayne 48-43 and lost at Aurora 32-26, slipping to 0-4. 

The Scotus boys were defeated by GICC 37-18 Friday, falling to 1-2.  The Shamrocks girls beat Humphrey St. Francis 43-33 on Saturday, following a 49-35 loss to GICC.  Scotus’ girls are 1-3.
