Gary’s Season Debut Sparks Huskers to Win Over Seawolves

Juwan Gary matched his career high with 19 points to lead Nebraska to an 84-53 win over Stony Brook last night. 

Gary, who was suspended for the Huskers’ first three games, added seven rebounds as NU improved to 4-0 for the first time since 2018.  Coach Fred Hoiberg said Gary “just brings so much” to the team.   

Brice Williams scored 17 points and added a game-high nine rebounds.  Keisei Tominaga had 16 points and Rienk Mast chipped in 14 as Nebraska cracked the 80-point mark for the third time in four games. 

The Huskers travel to Sioux Falls, South Dakota on Saturday to take on Oregon State.
