Jaz Shelley of Nebraska was selected by the Phoenix Mercury in the WNBA Draft last night.

The three-time All-Big Ten guard was chosen with the 29th overall pick in the third round of the draft.  Shelley averaged 13.4 points, 4.3 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game, helping the Huskers make it to the second round of the NCAA Tournament last season.

Meanwhile, Nebraska added Danish National Team member Alberte Rimdal to its roster as a transfer for next season.  She spent her first three collegiate seasons at Florida and has one season of eligibility with NU.
