Several Huskers, Bluejays Named to Volleyball All-Region Teams

Six Nebraska volleyball players have earned AVCA All-Region honors. 

Bekka Allick, Merritt Beason, Andi Jackson, Harper Murray, Bergen Reilly and Lexi Rodriguez were named to the North All-Region team.  Beason earned the region’s player of the year, Murray was its freshman of the year and John Cook won coach of the year. 

Three Creighton volleyball players and the Bluejays coach won regional awards yesterday.  Kiana Schmitt, Kendra Wait and Ava Martin were tabbed for the East All-Region team.  Kiersten Bernthal Booth was the region’s coach of the year.
