Scotus Volleyball Goes 3-2, Takes 5th in Conference Tourney

The Scotus volleyball club went 1-2 Saturday at the Centennial Conference tournament in Grand Island and finished in fifth place. 

The Shamrocks had won their first two tourney matches last Thursday, defeating Omaha Concordia and Bishop Neumann. 

On Saturday, Archbishop Bergan downed Scotus 25-10, 25-13 and eventual tournament champion Kearney Catholic beat the Shamrocks 25-13, 19-25, 25-15.  In the fifth place match, Scotus edged Hastings St. Cecilia 25-23, 27-25. 

The Shamrocks are 11-9 and will host GICC tomorrow night.
