Scotus Finishes Third, Arndt Earns Sixth in State Golf

The Scotus girls golf team finished in third place at the Class C state golf tournament. 

Scotus carded a two-day team score of 743, 62 strokes behind champion Broken Bow,  at Lake Maloney Golf Club in North Platte.  Cecilia Arndt earned sixth place individually, shooting an 80 on Tuesday for a total of 162.  Taylor Beierman of Boone Central took third at 155, six strokes behind champion Camryn Johnson of Broken Bow.  Kaitlyn Fleming of Scotus was 23rd and Fullerton’s Keila Dubas finished 26th as the Warriors were 10th in the team standings. 

Molly Goc of Columbus shot an 84 yesterday for a total of 171 and a tie for 22nd in the Class A state tourney at Riverside Golf Club in Grand Island. 

In Class B, Lakeview’s Ali Mueller carded a 111 Tuesday to finish at 220 and tied for 51st at Scotts Bluff Country Club.
