Scheierman Receives First All-America Recognition

Creighton’s Baylor Scheierman picked up his first – and definitely not his last – All-America honor of the season Thursday.
The Aurora, Nebraska native was named a Third Team All-American by ESPN.com. Scheierman leads the Big East conference with 14 double-doubles this season. He’s on pace to become the first men’s basketball player in the last 20 years to lead a Power 6 conference in both three-pointers and defensive rebounds.
No. 10 Creighton visits Villanova Saturday at 1:30 p.m. on FOX.
