Scheierman, Alexander Still on Prestigious Award Watch Lists

Creighton’s Baylor Scheierman was on the John R. Wooden Award Late Season Top 20 watch list announced Tuesday on ESPN2.
Scheierman leads the Bluejays in scoring with 17.8 points and rebounds with 8.1 boards per game, ranking third in the Big East in both categories. He also leads the conference with 3.1 three-pointers per game.
And CU’s Trey Alexander is one of 10 candidates on the midseason watch list for the Jerry West Award. Alexander is averaging 17 points, six rebounds and a team-leading 4.7 assists per game.
