Satterfield Talks About Young Receivers, Quarterback Sims

Nebraska offensive coordinator Marcus Satterfield says it’s been a good week of practice leading up to Saturday’s game at Colorado.

Asked about the season-ending injury to receiver Isaiah Garcia-Castaneda, Satterfield said Nebraska has “a bunch of young receivers that have unbelievable abilities.”

As far as quarterback Jeff Sims, who had three passes picked off at Minnesota, Satterfield also saw some positives.  “I wasn’t aware he would run that physical,” Satterfield admitted.  “Obviously, we – not he – but we are going to continue to take good care of the football.”

The Huskers will look to snap a 21-game losing streak against Top 25 opponents in Boulder.  Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. with the pregame starting at 7 a.m. on News Talk 900 KJSK.  It will be joined at 10:30 on 93.5 The Hawk.
