Satterfield on His Concerns With Huskers Offense at Scrimmage

Nebraska coach Matt Rhule admitted after Saturday’s scrimmage that the Huskers defense was “significantly ahead of the offense.”  Following Monday’s practice, offensive coordinator Marcus Satterfield was asked what his main concern was coming out of Saturday.

“Those young kids got in the stadium for the first time…the play clock, real officials, getting players on and off the field…at times early on we struggled with that,” Satterfield said.  “They got better as the scrimmage went along and they made some plays later.”

Satterfield said quarterback Jeff Sims was steady in Saturday’s scrimmage saying that he “tries to become better every single day.”
