Satterfield: Haarberg a “Full Go”, Splitting Reps With Sims

Nebraska quarterback Heinrich Haarberg was a “full go” in yesterday’s practice.

Offensive coordinator Marcus Satterfield said Haarberg, who had left last Saturday’s game after a fourth quarter hit, had “no restrictions whatsoever.”  Satterfield was asked about the status of quarterback Jeff Sims.  “He had a good practice today,” Satterfield said.  “They’re both splitting reps.  We’re taking it day-by-day just to see at the end of the week where we are from a health standpoint and from a football standpoint.”

Satterfield also said Tommi Hill “is in the process” of transitioning from a defensive back to wide receiver.  He added the Huskers are “trying to figure out the best ways to get him the ball and get him in open space because he’s very athletic and can run very well.”

Saturday’s kickoff against No. 2 Michigan is at 2:30 p.m.  The pregame begins at 10:30 a.m. on News Talk 900 KJSK and at 2 p.m. on 93.5 The Hawk.
