Rhule: Turnovers Were Biggest Concern at Saturday’s Scrimmage

Nebraska coach Matt Rhule says the Huskers defense played “really strong” again during a scrimmage on Saturday.

Rhule said NU’s offense put together some nice drives, but he had some concerns with turnovers.  “You know I’m not going to indict everyone for that, but we had a guy, really two guys that have to protect the ball better,” Rhule said.  “Still some work to do in the kicking game, and still some work to do on offense and on defense, but I like where we’re at right now.”

The Huskers have today off before returning to the practice field on Tuesday as they prep for the season opener on Thursday, August 31st at Minnesota.
