Rhule Says NU’s Good Players “Need to Show Up”

Nebraska linebacker Luke Reimer won’t play this Friday at Illinois.

Coach Matt Rhule has also announced that defensive back DeShon Singleton hurt his knee against Michigan and will miss “an extended period of time.”

Rhule said all the touchdowns the Wolverines scored last Saturday came on missed assignments.  He said he wants his players to play with confidence.  “We have some really good players,” Rhule said.  They’re going to play in the National Football League.  They need to show up…like, they need to show up.”

Friday’s kickoff is set for 7 p.m.  The pregame starts at 3 p.m. on News Talk 900 KJSK and at 6:30 on 93.5 The Hawk.
