Rhule Calls Nebraska’s Freshmen QB’s Savvy and Smart

It’s early in the spring, but Nebraska football coach Matt Rhule had praise for freshman quarterbacks Dylan Raiola and Daniel Kaelin yesterday.

Following the Huskers second spring practice, Rhule said both quarterbacks are savvy and smart.  He also said Heinrich Haarberg is very comfortable in the passing game.

Of the two freshmen, Rhule said that by the end of spring, he expects both of them to be ready to start at quarterback.

NU will continue spring practice next Tuesday.  The Red-White Spring game is scheduled for Saturday, April 27th at 11 a.m.
