Results From Columbus High, Lakeview Hoops Games Saturday

In high school basketball action Saturday, the Columbus High boys suffered a 54-39 loss at Grand Island. 

The Discoverers fell to 0-2. 

The Columbus girls rolled to a 57-9 victory over the Islanders at Millard West.  Jordyn Trotta had 14 points and Carly Gaedeke added 12 for CHS, which is 1-1. 

Meanwhile, Lakeview’s boys dropped a 62-42 decision at Arlington.  The Vikings are 1-1. 

And despite Taylor Greisen hitting five 3-pointers for 15 points, the Lakeview girls were downed by the Eagles 60-43.  Lakeview is 0-2.
