Report: Two-Sport Husker Mendelson Enters Transfer Portal

Nebraska two-sport athlete Maggie Mendelson has reportedly entered the transfer portal.
The Lincoln Journal Star credited a source with knowledge of the situation for that news. The 6-foot-5 Mendelson is a middle blocker on the Huskers volleyball team and plays forward and center in basketball.
She played in 13 matches for NU volleyball this past season, posting 27 kills and 15 blocks. But, she didn’t see game action in basketball this season.
