NU Women Take Iowa to Overtime, Fall in Big Ten Title Tilt

The Nebraska women’s basketball team took No. 3 Iowa to overtime in yesterday’s Big Ten tournament championship, before falling 94-89.
Alexis Markowski tied a school record with her 40th career double-double, as she led the Huskers with 23 points and 13 rebounds.
Jaz Shelley, who erupted for 30 points in Saturday’s semifinal win over Maryland, had 16 points and 13 assists yesterday. NU’s Natalie Potts added 21 points and nine boards, but Caitlin Clark countered with 34 points and 12 assists for Iowa.
