NU Volleyball’s Beason Named National Player of the Week

A day after being named the Big Ten Player of the Week, Nebraska volleyball’s Merritt Beason was honored Tuesday as the AVCA National Player of the Week.
Beason is the first Husker to receive the national honor since 2017.
She led NU to a sweep at Northwestern and a 3-2 win over Wisconsin last week with 4.25 kills per set.
