North Belts Another Grand Slam as Creighton Wins Home Opener

Creighton’s baseball club rolled to a 12-2 win over UMass Lowell in the Bluejays’ home opener last night.
Ben North cracked his third grand slam of the season, just nine games old, to cap the Jays’ scoring. North and Nolan Sailors combined to go 5-for-7 with eight RBI and three runs. Creighton improved to 8-1.
The Jays will host the River Hawks again this evening. First pitch is set for 6 p.m. at Charles Schwab Field.
