Nebraska Men’s Basketball Pulls Away to Beat Rider
The Nebraska men’s basketball team used a 17-0 second half run to defeat Rider 64-50 last night at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
Keisei Tominaga shook off some rust after missing NU’s first two games, hitting consecutive 3-pointers to ignite the spurt that put the Huskers up 64-46. Rienk Mast finished with 12 points and 13 rebounds, while C.J. Wilcher came off the bench to score a team-high 13 points.
Nebraska improved to 3-0 for the first time under Fred Hoiberg.
The Cornhusker Classic continues Wednesday when the Huskers take on Stony Brook at 7 p.m.
