Lakeview Softball Goes 1-2 in Tournament at Lincoln

Lakeview’s softball team went 1-2 in a tournament Saturday in Lincoln.
In the opening game, the Vikings fell to Wahoo 2-0. Lakeview bounced back with a 7-1 victory over NEN. Freshman Julia Long hit her first high school home run driving in three runs. Hannah Allen tossed a six-inning complete game and she pitched six more frames in the final contest, as the Vikings were edged by St. Cecilia 4-3.
Lakeview is 2-2 and will host Centennial on Thursday.
