Jordan Larson to Join Nebraska Volleyball as Assistant Coach

Former Nebraska volleyball star Jordan Larson has been hired as an assistant coach for the Huskers.

Larson will join John Cook’s staff once her summer playing schedule wraps up in September.  She’s currently on the 30-player roster for the U.S. which is competing in the Volleyball Nations League.  She plans to play with the national team in qualifiers for the 2024 Olympics in September before joining NU for the rest of the season.

Larson briefly served as a volunteer assistant at Texas and Midland University in 2022.

The three-time All-American led Nebraska to a national championship in 2006, and later was a three-time Olympic medalist.  She was the team captain and MVP when the U.S. won its first Olympic gold medal in Tokyo in 2021.
