Jays No. 11 in AP, Coaches Polls, Huskers Get Some Votes

The Creighton men’s basketball club will enter the NCAA tournament ranked 11th in the nation in both the Associated Press and USA Today coaches polls.
It marks the seventh time in program history the Bluejays end the year in the Top 25. CU will open play in the NCAA tourney Thursday at 12:30 p.m. when the Jays face Akron in Pittsburgh.
Nebraska’s men were among other teams receiving votes in both polls. The Huskers got seven votes in the AP poll and received 12 votes from coaches.
